Rong Rui, Ph.D.,DVM, is currently a professor majoring in animal reproduction & obstetrics in the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine, Nanjing Agricultural University of China. He is also the vice president of Society of Veterinary Obstetrics, CAAV. He got his Ph.D. and MS degrees respectively in 1996 and 1988 in Northwestern Agricultural University. His research is mainly focused on stem cell biology in swine, mammalian embryo biotechnology, as well as prevention and treatment of mastitis and sterility in dairy cattle. He obtained Shanghai Scientific Progress Award –the 2nd prize and has more than 160 papers & books published out.
